St Andrews Harbour.
A bitterly cold February, late afternoon. The sun had set and I couldn't feel my fingers or toes any more, I was longing to get back to my car for some warmth. But, walking past the harbour wall, the post-sunset light turned the stone a shade of purple. Long exposure softened the gentle sea to a mirror surface. Definitely a winter shot, in summer a constant parade of holidaymakers would be walking up and down the wall.
